…..and the final number is

$35,810! and still growing...

During our presentation, patients continued walking through the front door dropping money into the contribution bucket at Bill's desk. Florida Hospital Zephyrhills has another couple of hundred boxes to deliver, and our fabulous Florida Medical Clinic family continues to bring in bags of Crystal Light boxes!

Thank you all for your support and incredible hearts.

All guests signed a card for the family of Marcus Mathes, the young man from Zephyrhills who recently died in combat. This care package will be sent in his honor from all of you.

"We have accomplished far more together than we EVER could as individuals!"

Thank you!!

If you or your organization would like to donate to this worthy cause please contact us or Bob Williams.  If you would like to help us out, we always need money for postage.  No one is paid for their time.  Everyone is volunteer.  So, all donations go to postage or items sent to the troops.

Crystal Light Challenge

We can make a huge difference in the life of our soldiers.

WATER is the only drink available all day, everyday, week after week, month after month in Afghanistan. A simple packet of CRYSTAL LIGHT mixed into a water bottle can make an enormous impact on a soldier.  Not only does it flavor the water, but it sends a message from home that we appreciate and are thinking of them.

Our challenge: 3000 boxes of CRYSTAL LIGHT ready to mail by June 1, 2008.

FLORIDA MEDICAL CLINIC FOUNDATION OF CARING IS HONORED WITH MILITARY FLAG

Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring was honored with an American flag on October 17, 2005. Bob Williams, a Wesley Chapel citizen, has spent more than 25 years sending care packages to US troops serving overseas. Most of the care packages consist of toilet paper, candy, Starbucks coffee, DVDs, magazines and homemade cards wishing them a safe return. The problem Williams runs into the most is finding the funds to pay for postage.
