Pink & Black is Back....rock 'n roll is revving up the Dade City Business Center Festival Courtyard with sounds of Elvis, The Platters, Theresa Brewer and Patsy Cline. East Pasco Habitat for Humanity, for the second year, is presenting a Rock-N Roll spectacular event. On Friday, October 24, 2008, Dade City will be raising the roof for families in need of decent housing and enjoying every minute of it! Sheri Schwab, President of the Florida Medical Clinic's Foundation of Caring, surprised everyone by bidding on a keychain that "would open the hearts of many and change the lives of a family forever". The bidding was cautious at first but ended with the Foundation President making the final bid for $70,000 to build an entire house for a Habitat family. This will be the second home Florida Medical Clinic's Foundation has built in partnership with East Pasco Habitat. Giving back to society is a commendable practice for all who fund community projects such as the Habitat program and it is truly another blessing for the recipient Habitat homeowners.
