Florida Medical Clinic

Jane Hughes - President
I was born and raised  in Canada  and moved to Florida with my husband,Paul, in 1980.  From 1980 til 1988 I taught Anatomy and Physiology and Intro Biology at Pasco Hernando Community College. I stopped lecturing to have my fourth child but then  fell into fundraising by default - the school that my 3 young  children were attending was about to close its doors after 105 years in operation. A group of concerned parents decided that closure was not an option . I have volunteered tirelessly for the past 20 years to assure  the  solidity of the school  and today  Saint Anthony School  is  still viable - never having had to close its' doors . I still dabble in teaching at Saint Leo University but my main interest is the Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring . It is a great honor to be associated with an organization that gives back to the communities it serves . It is also a deeply felt responsibilty to promote the good works of this Foundation. Please join us as we take root and grow.

What the Foundation of Caring means to me...

"Volunteerism is a humbling and rewarding experience however, volunteering to Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring brings with it a responsibility to properly represent FMC in the community to be an ambassador of a company that lives "the giving message".  It is an honor to be associated witha group of individuals from employees to providers to the administration who realize their responsibility to give back to the community that sustains it."
