Florida Medical Clinic is a unique company – unique in vision, unique in quality of care, and unique in appreciation of its employees.  Continuing this trend, the Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring is unique among medical charitable foundations in that it returns all monies raised back to the community.  In the four short years that the Foundation of Caring has been in operation, we have gifted over $500,000 to the communities that Florida Medical Clinic and the Foundation of Caring have the pleasure of serving.

Just as Foundation of Caring strives to maintain the high standards set by the clinic, I find myself, as incoming president, with a daunting challenge: I must maintain the high standards of our outgoing president and founder, Sheri Schwab.

        The foundation Sheri has created is growing by leaps and bounds; indeed it seems to have a life of its own.  With Sheri at the helm, we have received our 501(3)(c) designation, we have status as a not for profit public charity and, judging by the number of donation requests, we are becoming very well known in the community as a giving force.

         None of this was created or can continue in isolation. The Foundation of Caring is a team endeavor which includes foundation members and friends, FMC physicians and providers, key management and employees as well as donors from the community.

        I invite you to share in this unique experience. The work of the Foundation of Caring is gratifying and humbling at the same time. The personal rewards of being a volunteer are priceless.
