The Foundation of Caring supports local community needs such as:

  • Fire Department (Zephyrhills)

    • Upgrade services from Basic Life Support to Advanced Life Support, non transfer service. Provides training and medications needed while waiting for ambulatory support.

  • Sheriff Department (Pasco County)

    • Crime Prevention Unit of Pasco County Sheriff's Office develops programs to reduce crime through education and heightened awareness of citizens.

    • Funding for Save a Kid provides identification card and fingerprinting for elementary students;

    • Bicycle safety classes provide helmets and instruction by specially trained officers

  • C.A.R.E.S. Adopt a Monitor Program

    • Community Aging & Retirement Services, Inc

    • CARES provides Adopt a Monitor services so that older adults can remain safely in their homes with consistent clinical supervision. Since 1973, the Adopt a Monitor Program has promoted health and independence for adults.

  • AHEC - Medical Care in Underserved Areas

    • Area Health Education Center

    • AHEC was established with the goal to improve the access, supply and distribution of health care services in medically underserved areas of Florida's most vulnerable populations.

  • Emergency Relief Fund

    • Provides matching funds for victims of crisis and/or emergencies

  • R.A.G.E. Rattlesnake and Gopher Enthusiasts

    • Underwrite cost of T-Shirts for the Rattlesnake Run
