New Home for Healing Arts
Mary Spears and The Healing Arts get a New Home. On August 19, 2008 The Mary Spears Healing Arts Studio was unveiled. Still located at The Florida Medical Clinic Zephyrhills, the Studio now in its own building: 38036 Market Square.
Free Art Classes
Stretching beyond the reach of traditional cures, the Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring is once again teaming up with local artist Mary Sears, to offer free, weekly art instruction at its Zephyrhills location. Mary Sears, a breast cancer survivor and talented artist, teaches a free two-hour class once a week to cancer patients, survivors and their families at the Healing Arts Studio. Starting with only a few patients, you can find up to 30 artists enjoying the company of others, sharing their stories and healing their mind and hearts through art.
