The Foundation of Caring hopes to make a vast impact in the communities Florida Medical Clinic serves, living up to our motto of “reaching beyond our walls”.  We have aligned ourselves with organizations that support children, the elderly, education, and advocacy.  Our goal is to establish a community connection, a glimmer of hope and to support programs that yield meaningful results.

The Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring Board of Directors will accept grant applications throughout the year.  The process used by our board is to research each and every grant to guarantee that it meets the mission of the Foundation.  The time line for approval for grants is the end of the calendar year. 

We are energized about our growing organization and extremely optimistic about its potential to affect positive change in the communities we serve.  We recognize the value of your cause and are excited to see the positive change you will bring to our community.

How You Can Help

Volunteering is an activity that involves spending time, unpaid, dong something that aims to benefit the environment or someone (individual or groups) other than, or in addition to, close relatives’.

A recent study done by University of Wales, Lampeter have shown a clear link between volunteering and good health both for volunteers and health service users.

Volunteering can increase a volunteers’ longevity, improve their mental health, keep them at a better fitness level, and allow them to cope better with illness when it occurs.
